Jerry Fillingame

Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Fillingame, 69, of Beaumont, died Saturday December 31, 2022 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. He was born June 29, 1953 in Beaumont to Frances Magliolo Fillingame and Jessie Earl Fillingame Sr.

Jerry had many passions. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, working in his yard, watching Westerns, and watching sports; his favorite teams were the Houston Astros and the Washington Redskins. He was married to his loving wife, Cheryl for 10 years, and loved his family with all of his heart.

Jerry is survived by his wife Cheryl Baker Fillingame; stepsons, Nathan Dempsey and Kevin Calloway; brothers, Jessie Jr. and George Fillingame; sisters, Bib Thompson and her husband Woody, Rhoda Lynch, and Pam Zambardino; brother-in-law, Wally Flitcraft; sister-in-law, Carol Harell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Outlaw.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Frances; his son, Chris Fillingame; brother, Jimmy Fillingame; sister, Mary Filtcraft; and stepdaughter, Gwen Grady.

Jerry will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703 on Saturday January 7, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with a Celebration of Jerry's Life to immediately follow.
