Lettie Beatrice Brown, 91, a thirty-nine year resident of Beaumont coming from Rockport, Texas passed away on Monday June 18, 2018 in Beaumont. Lettie was born in Silsbee, Texas on August 10, 1926 to her parents Albert and Inez Withers Tarver who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Brown and step-son Rolan Brown, four sisters and two brothers.
Lettie was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaumont. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, traveling, going to casinos, cooking, playing Bingo, and especially took great care of her husband until his passing. She also loved getting together with her family especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister; Zona Gail Taylor of Beaumont, sister-in-law; Sarah Dean Woodard of Metairie, La., granddaughter Cindy Gall and husband Michael and their two children her great grandson Ryan Gall and Great Granddaughter Natalie Gall. She is also survived by a host of Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2018 from 1:00p.m. until the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
