Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Walter J. Alston; son, Johnny Alston; daughter, Deborah Alston Horton. She is survived by sons, Bob Alston and wife, Glenda, Mark Alston and wife, Tressa; daughters, Barbara Alston McDaniel, Patricia Alston Morgan and husband, Jack; 13 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services to be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
