Lola Wilturner Chisom, age 91, passed away August 25, 2012 in Beaumont. She was born April 27, 1921 in Orangefield, TX to Joseph and Nedia Turner. She was a member of the Douglas Memorial CME Church in Beaumont.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul C. Chisom Sr. and one daughter, Doris Chisom Cunningham.
She is survived by three sons, David Chisom, Paul Chisom Jr., Robert Chisom, two daughters, June Williams, and Zerlene Chisom, she is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews. A gathering of family and friends will begin on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Douglas Memorial CME Church from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services to begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
