Lynn Beth Wright

Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Lynn was born in Port Arthur, Texas on January 20, 1935 to Dudley and Gladys Felder. She graduated from Port Neches High School in 1953 and went on to earn a degree from Lamar University. She was member of Alpha Zeta Chapter of Alpha Pi Epsilon. She joined the law firm of Orgain, Bell & Tucker in January, 1966 and enjoyed working with them as the Accounting Supervisor for over 40 years.

Lynn was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Jack Wright, who worked for the City of Beaumont. Together they enjoyed fishing at Gilchrist, traveling in the mountains and spending time with their family. She and her husband were active members of Washington Boulevard Christian Church where they enjoyed singing in the church choir. She played the organ for the Bridge City Christian Church and worked with young children in Sunday School and in Youth Groups. Her strong belief and faith in her loving Father gave her strength with which she lived her life.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mark R. Phillips, a retired firefighter in Beaumont, Texas and his wife, Della; stepdaughter, Debra Wright; grandchildren, Amber Stager and Christopher Phillips. Four great grandchildren, Brenden, Braelyn, Blaycie and Adelie. Lynn is also survived by her sister, Dell Felder and her dear friend, Mickey Hollis of Houston, Texas.
