Mary Dell Cummings, 87, of Beaumont, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was born on September 4, 1927 in Rockland, Texas to her parents Henry J. and Johnie Marshall Rawls who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband Cecil Carson Cummings, Sr. Mrs. Cummings worked as a teller for Gateway National Bank in Beaumont. After living in Woodville she moved to Beaumont and was here for fifty-three years. Surviving Mrs. Cummings are her two sons, Kenneth J. Cummings and wife Dorothy of Beaumont, Corky Cummings and wife Carol Ann of Beaumont, daughter Mariland Walker and husband Shanon of Athens, Texas, grandson Trip Cummings and wife Mindy of Lumberton.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Serenity Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the area Beaumont Chapter of The American Heart Association in honor of Mrs. Cummings.
