Paula Hamner Alford

Paula Hamner Alford, 99, of Houston, died Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Village on the Park Assisted Living Home in Houston. A native of Beaumont, she has lived in Houston for 4 years. Paula enjoyed gardening, taking road trips, eating out and spending time with her family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will be held from 1:30pm to 2:30 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, George N. Rice, Sr and Blanche Orton Rice, her 2 husbands, Ellis L. Hamner, and Jasper Alford, brothers, George N. Rice, Jr., and Jack Rice.

Paula is survived by her son, Steve Hamner and his husband Richard Nguyen of San Francisco, CA., daughter, Molly Cordeau and her husband Wes of Houston, grandsons, Brian Cordeau, and Brad Cordeau and his wife Soraya, great grandchildren, Kallison Cordeau, Aida Cordeau, and Soralie Cordeau all of San Antonio, TX.
