

Raymon was born February 16, 1927, to Macedonio and Ladislada Zavala, in Lemonville, Texas. Raymon was a long time resident of Beaumont, Texas. He was a homebuilder and enjoyed wood working. Raymon was also self-employed with Zavala and Son.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria O. Zavala; brothers, John, Cecil, Jesus, Felix and Robert “Sant” Zavala. He is survived by his son, Joe A. Zavala and wife Juliana; daughters, Mary Zavala, Eva Delgado, Martha Manriquez, Juanita Chatham and Lisa Carter; sister, Maria Zavala Lopez of California; grandchildren; Mark, Victoria and Veronica Briseno, Richard, Rachael, Renee and Julie Zavala, Andrea Miller, Danielle Manriquez, Vincent Jr. Delgado, Angelica Delgado, Amanda Magdaleno, Daniel Delgado, Tony, Kelley Carter and 18 great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 6 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012, at 3 p.m., at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
