

Rebecca Corbin Everitt, age 86, passed away in Webster, Texas on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mathew Pitts officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Rebecca was born in Sears, Florida on May 6, 1928. She was a member of Bayview Methodist Church in Crystal Beach, TX. She worked many years as an executive secretary for Sun Oil and later for Beaumont State Bank. Rebecca was devoted mother and grandmother to her family. She was an avid gardener, who was blessed with green thumb. She also loved to fish, enjoyed cooking and was a world traveler.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Leo Corbin and her second husband, Robert Bertin Everitt, Jr. Two brothers, Richard Hall and Ross Hall and a sister, Mary Cunningham.
Rebecca is survived by her son, Rick Corbin and his wife Mary Beth of Spring, TX and a daughter, Pamela Corbin Scott and her husband John of League City, TX. Four sisters; Tensy Arata of Mobile, AL, Dot Sweringen of Uba City, CA, Jane Still of Orange Beach, AL and Pat Rainey of Mobile, AL. Five grandchildren; Andrew Corbin of Moncton, Canada, Sarah Corbin Pitts of Menden, TX, Scott Alexander Corbin of Louisville, KY, Michael Scott of Kemah, TX and Justin Scott of The Woodlands. As well as eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
