Regina, our hearts are still broken without you. But we will keep you alive in memory forever! You would have been 40 this week! We gathered together to celebrate you, all of your family and most dear friends, we sent our hearts to Heaven for you! We love you forever!

Regina Ann Marino, a name so beautiful and so fitting for our beloved sister. The name Regina means “queen” and is also used in honor of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven.

Ann means “grace or a merciful person” - generous and giving, even to strangers, her sincere smile encouraged others, she was admired for her sweet charm and her mercy to all, even those who dishonor her.

Regina will always be our “Queen of Grace.”

She was born with a nurturing spirit. Since she was little she always found ways to care - from playing with her dolls, looking after children, to taking care of her family in various ways. She nurtured others her entire life, it’s precisely what she lived for.

We know you will forever be a guardian angel over Dad, Mom, Melissa, Rebecca, myself and all of our children. 

We thank you for gracing our sister Melissa with your spiritual message before you left, you knew she desperately needed to hear that. She was always your confidante, your keeper of happiness and your keeper of sorrows, until your final day. We cling to your message today and know that you are okay. We know you are looking down on us and can clearly see what’s inside our hearts. You can see everything now.

We will have faith in knowing that when we see you again, sweet sister, it will be as if no time has passed.

We have lost the most beautiful loving women, my daughter in law GINA.  She has been in our family for 24 years. Married to my son Brian.  She has been like a daughter I did not have.. Gina and I have stayed very close over the years. Her heart was so big and loving ❤.  She always was seeing about her nephew, Nick and niece,  Lindsay. She will be so missed but she will always be in my heart . She loved life and we have to remember she loved the people in her life with all her heart. Rest in peace my beautiful girl...Love you always...

Dear sister, although we have lived far apart and our individual lives have kept us separated, I know you are looking down with a bursting heart, as I open my aching heart up to you. I know that you know how great my love is for you and will forever be. I have so many pictures of us as babies, toddlers, and young children. I love looking back at how you sucked your thumb, how you eyeballed my birthday presents, us riding bikes and playing dolls. So many memories I will hold onto and treasure forever.

My beautiful sister Regina,

Never in a million lifetimes would I have ever imagine that I would be writing this.  You were always the sweet sister, the kind one, and in all honesty you are the better one out of the four of us.  

You were there for me during breakups, happy milestones, nights with too much drinking, my journey thus far with motherhood, and every high and low that's come my way.  You've done so much for Brennan and I over the years.  He absolutely adores you.  He has been over the moon these past many months having Aunt Gina live with us. You loved him as your own and I will never be able to articulate what that has meant to me over the years.  The love we both have received from you and the impact you have had on our lives will be remembered and cherished every single day. 
I see you in Dad’s quiet laugh and in Mom’s willingness to talk to everyone; I see you in Stephanie’s strong will and in Rebecca’s kindness. 
Your entire life has been all about others, right down to your very last act on Earth.  In the 2 weeks leading up to your hospital admittance, you were quarantined and caring for someone else once again: me.  I was so sick with COVID and you took care of me at all times, even when I told you to stay away from me.  We've always been very close but us being locked in our house those last 2 weeks brought us to a new level.  I'm so grateful to God for allowing me that time with you.  He knew I would look back on that time for solace. You were selfless to the end.  I couldn't be more honored that your last deeds were for me.  Your character is to be envied by all.  

I take comfort in knowing that Brennan, Hunter, Liam, Keyleigh, Koltin and Kristian have Aunt Gina as their guardian angel.

Go with God, take refuge in His mercy and grace.  You have fought many battles on Earth but now it's time you rest easy and continue your watch looking after others, only this time you'll be watching from above.

It literally took my breath away to learn Regina had passed away so young. I saw her obituary in my FB newsfeed posted by Brian 19 days after her passing. I had no idea. To her family and friends, I’m sincerely sorry for your loss. Our husbands worked together at Chevron. I was in her presence several times, and we were friends on FB for several years. I was always struck positively by her natural beauty, her great wit, but more importantly, her beautiful and pure soul. God must have needed her by His side more than on earth.  What a deep loss for all who loved her on earth. 

Gina - you have always been so sweet and kind. I remember sleeping over at your house when we cousins were young, Niki, Jackie and I. A lot of good memories I won’t forget with you, Melissa, and Stephanie. We love you dearly and will continue to pray our Rosaries for you. Requiescat in pace with our dear PawPaw, and may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace. Amen.  

Stephanie and Melissa - only sisters can truly imagine the pain of such a loss. I know how close you all are. It makes me hang on to my own sisters that much harder, and you know we will hang on you. You have our prayers and our love - always. 

Uncle Pete and Aunt Chris - what a beautiful and truly kind and charitable daughter you raised. So good, in fact, that God wished to call her to Himself. “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Let your hearts, then, rest in Gina and in Christ, and keep your eyes on heaven. You have all of our love, support, and prayers, always.

I don’t know where to begin or what to say. Gina was in my life for a very short time, but only God knows how much I loved her. She was an angel on earth and my heart will always be broken with her gone. It’s all surreal! Gina will be missed every day from here on out. Her love for life and her family (especially her nieces and nephews) was contagious, but then again her love for anything was. She was one of the most amazing and loving people I’ve had  the joy of meeting in my life! Gina, Rob and I love you oh so much and you will FOREVER be a part of our hearts. Until we meet again sweetheart!
