Shirley Ann Hughes Rothenberger

Shirley Ann Rothenberger, age 76 of Beaumont, Texas, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont with Rev. Nathan Cothen officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church on Friday.

Shirley was born in Beaumont, Texas on May 17, 1938 to the late K.S. Hughes and Arthurine G. Stevens Hughes. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she served as a choir member and a preschool Sunday school teacher. Shirley was a wonderful cook and a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Gary Rothenberger, Sr. Four sons, Gary and Jan Rothenberger, Jr. of Beaumont, TX, Eric Rothenberger of Temple, TX, Dirk and Lisa Rothenberger of Pine Ridge, TX and Ryan and Kira Rothenberger of Orange, TX. Eight grandchildren, Hunter and Ashley Rothenberger of Douglas, TX, Megan Lindsey and Cody of Nacogdoches, TX, Reagan Rothenberger of Dallas, TX, Fischer Rothenberger of Timpson, TX, Loren Rothenberger of Vidor, TX, Savanna Rothenberger of Orange, TX, Samantha Rothenberger of Pine Ridge, TX and Gracie Rothenberger of Pine Ridge, TX. Also, six precious great grandchildren, Payton, Trapper, Chandler, Lacyn, Jaxen and Parker. One sister, Norma Jordan of Conroe, TX.
