Virginia was a charter member of Dowlen Road Church of Christ and was a faithful member from the age of 17. She retired from Southwestern Bell after 45 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed reading books and making ceramics. One of her greatest loves was to travel, especially to Alaska and Hawaii.
Left to carry her memory on is her son Nolan Andress and wife Tammy; grandson, Kevin Andress and wife Ashley; granddaughter Amy Racca; great-grandchildren, Jayda Racca, Troy Andress, Jonathan Andress, and Maddox Andress; sister Cherry Smith; and nieces, Christy Lavine and Misty Lavine.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Alvin Andress; her parents William A. and Dovie Lavine; brothers, Elmer Lavine and Bill Lavine; nephew Douglas Dale Lavine; and niece Jo D’Lynn Lavine.
A gathering to share memories of Virginia will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
A celebration of Virginia's life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:00am, officiated by Minister David Banning. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
