Waylon Wyatt Harrison, our precious and beautiful baby boy, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025. He was born on September 29, 2025, in Galveston, Texas, to his loving parents, Dylan Lee Harrison and Hannah Kristine (Walker) Harrison.
He is preceded in death by multiple grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Waylon is survived by his parents; his five proud big sisters, Emmaleigh Harrison, Addison Harrison, Marley Harrison, Mötley Harrison, and Olive Harrison; grandparents, Tommy Harrison (paw paw) and wife Kim (maw maw), and Robert (papa) and Angela Walker (mimi) ; great-grandmothers, Nova Walker and Willa Flynn and husband Michael; aunts and uncles, Megan Harrison (Aunt Monnie) and husband Jesse, Savannah Harrison (aunt banana), Gerardo “Jerry” Ureste, and Amber Walker(auntie auntie auntie) ; cousins, Bryson Allen, Luke Harbes, Amslee Harbes, and Hunter Harrison; and a host of other loving family members.
Though his time here was far too brief, Waylon’s presence changed our world forever in ways that words could never express. In those precious moments we were given, he brought a love so powerful it felt larger than life itself. His tiny hands and feet, his soft breaths, his little lips, his perfect little soul — they filled our hearts with a joy we had waited so long to hold, our first baby boy. And when he slipped from our arms, he took pieces of us with him that we will never get back and will long for him -for the rest of our lives.
There are no words that can ease the ache of a future that will never come, of dreams we must now carry only in memory. The silence he leaves behind is heavy, and the grief is something we will learn to navigate one day at a time. Yet even through the sorrow, his light remains — a small but everlasting flame. Though we only held him for seven very short weeks, we will mourn him and love him for a lifetime. He is woven into who we are, and his memory will be the gentle ache we carry always. Mommy, daddy & your sweet sisters will never forget you, Waylon Wyatt.
An angel in the book of life wrote down our precious Waylon’s name, then whispered as she closed the book, too beautiful to remain.
