Eva Fiest

She moved to Oregon with her family in 1959. She attended school to become a scrub technician, then worked at St. Vincent's until her retirement.

She raised six grandchildren due to an airplane accident. Eva and Jake loved to travel with their grandchildren. Eva survived her husband Jake, who passed away in 2002.

Eva is survived by her children: Son Bill Feist of Burns, Ore., son Michael Feist of Beaverton, Ore., and daughter Marie Ferguson of Beaverton, Ore.; sister Mary Schneider of Portland, Ore.; sister Betty Keller of Portland, Ore.; Sister Cathy Noriss of Tigard, Ore.; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Beaverton, Ore., with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Church.
