Gerald (Jerry) Maurice Pam was born October 17, 1926 in London, England. After World War II, Jerry and his parents immigrated to Australia. He left Australia in 1953 and moved to Los Angeles, California. His first jobs in the mid 1950s were as a reporter for a local newspaper and for Variety. Reflecting his lifelong love of film and the arts, Jerry served for many years on the Foreign Film Committee of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Pam, and stepchildren Erin Dingilian, Susan Dingilian, and Tim Dingilian, and his grandson Landon Lombardo. He also had a daughter, Leslie Pam (deceased) by a previous marriage.
