Judy was born on September 9, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, to Robert and Virginia Rowan. She moved with her family to West Linn, Oregon as a child, where she grew up alongside her older brother, Bob, and her younger sisters, Barbara and Cheryl.
Judy lived much of her life in Oregon, though her life also took her to California, Arizona, and Washington. Wherever she lived, she brought warmth, creativity, and dedication to all she did. She excelled in many roles throughout her life, including homemaker, educational aide, interior decorator, and office manager, always taking pride in caring for others and creating welcoming spaces.
Above all Judy cherished her family and friends.
She nurtured close friendships stretching clear back to high school. She was a loving sister and beloved aunt, but above all, she was a devoted mother whose love, guidance and support will continue to shape her daughters’ lives in lasting ways.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Kristin and Jennifer, Jennifer's husband Sean and daughter Madisen. Also, her sisters Barbara and Cheryl, her nieces Brandi, Angie, Stephanie and Shelly, nephew Rhett, and ex-husband Darrell with whom she shared many years. All of whom will remember her for her kindness, resilience, and loving spirit.
Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared as they are made.
