Leonard was born to Matthew and Anne Marie Fortun in Anaconda, Montana on August 30, 1928. Leonard will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Anne Marie ‘Nancy’ Inglesby Fortun and oldest son Steve Fortun (Janet). His surviving children, Kevin Fortun (Sandi), Mike Fortun (May), Linda Conklin (John), Mary Shepard (Steve). His devoted grandchildren, Sean, Matthew (Jennilee), Cortney, Greg, Kayli, Shannon, Daniel, Haley, Carlos and Susy (Rob). Leonard is also survived by his twin brother, Ed Fortun and Sister in law, Pat Mitchell. Many nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Leonard.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Thursday, August 13th at 10:30 a.m. followed by Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
