She was born in O'Connor, Neb., and moved from Grand Island to Oregon in 1944. She worked in retail and retired from downtown Meier & Frank. She was an active member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church Social Concerns ministry until a fall forced her into a nursing home on May 6, 2011.
Lucille is preceded in death by her husband Richard Lukesh, her parents, and nine siblings. She is survived by her daughter Sharron McMurdo of Beaverton, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A private interment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Cecilia Social Concerns.
