10/31/1922 – 01/01/2012
Margaret passed away surrounded by family in her home at The Pearl in the same manner as she lived her life: serenely and without fuss. Margaret was born in Gladstone, OR to Edward J. and Jean Noeth. She grew up in Yakima, WA and graduated from Yakima High School as salutatorian in 1940. In 1950, she married Charles A Reppeto, whom she met while working together at PP&L. Chuck passed away 12/25/2004. Prior to relocating to The Pearl, Margaret lived in her home of 60 years in Beaverton.
Margaret loved the beach, travel, reading, gardening, movies, baking, music and anything chocolate. Her well-honed organizational skills were put to good use during her involvement with various school committees and boards while her children were growing up. She also enjoyed politics and was very active in Washington County Republican politics for many years. Her genuine interest in everyone she met and her generous, humble spirit meant that no one remained a stranger for long; and she enjoyed many life-long friendships. No birthday, anniversary or holiday was ever forgotten. Above all, Margaret cherished her family and friends and time spent with them. She is survived by her son, John Reppeto (wife Becky), daughters Allison Krueger (husband Fred) and Margaret Strohm, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, life-long friend Gene Kugler, extended family Carl Strohm (wife Carol) and Heidi Williams (husband Dennis, daughter Lydia) and her beloved Molly. Her son Keith Reppeto predeceased her in 1984.
Our heartfelt thank you to all the loving staff at The Pearl, Providence Hospice and her wonderful caregiver Valerie Bessler for all the support and kindness they provided. At Margaret’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service. Donations may be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing
