Where do you start describing a man's life that was full of love, life and a bunch of children (eight); plus two wives (separate times of course!); 13 grandchildren; and perhaps more than one great-grandchild; six brothers; one sister; and we stopped counting all the nieces and nephews along time ago...we're just sayin'. And then there are all the others who considered him their dad, too!
Needless to say, Mike gave so much love and attention to his family that our renuions were more like events that everyone actually wanted to go to and did (who doesn't miss a Mike & Sissy party?!).
Mike's professional accomplishments were too many to describe, but his family is what he lived for - it was as simple as that; thank you, Dad!
Memorial Mass will be Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1280 NW Saltzman Rd., Portland, OR.
