Patricia Ann Dragoo

Pat, 83, passed away on Holy Thursday surrounded by her children. Pat was born in Effingham, Kansas and lived her early life in Russell, Kansas until she graduated from High School in 1947. That same year, most of her family moved to Portland, Oregon. Pat chose a career in accounting. She worked for Dean Distributing Company until she retired in 1991. Pat met her beloved husband, Herb Dragoo in 1950; they were married in 1951 and together raised four children. Herb preceded her in death in 1984. A long time Tigard resident, Pat was happiest spending time with her family. Pat is survived by her children; Francine Cotton, Mike Dragoo, Teri Cackowski (Dan), Kathy Yaquot (Muhammad), four grandchildren, Paul Crandell, Cory Crandell, Rebecca Cotton and Nico Kennedy, one great grand-daughter, Regina, three sisters, Elaine Cobb, Mary Dreyer, Jean O’Grady and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat will be forever remembered for her sense of humor, her independent personality and her loving nature. A Rosary will take place at Young’s Funeral Home in Tigard, Oregon at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 10th. All attendees are encouraged to share memories. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 12th at 11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Tigard, Oregon. Viewing will begin one half hour prior to the funeral.
