Timothy Brian Hayzlett

Timothy Brian Hayzlett, age 62, of Garibaldi, Oregon passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Tim was born July 16, 1959, to Verne and Marjorie Hayzlett in Mcminnville, Oregon. He grew up in Portland, Oregon with his brother, Jeff Hayzlett, and his two sisters, Becky Hayzlett and Debra Hayzlett. Tim enjoyed playing baseball in his youth and graduated from Cleveland High School.

Tim met the love of his life, Virginia, when he was a teenager on a family beach trip to Waldport, Oregon. They later married, and he became a stepfather. Over a year later, their son, Brian Hayzlett was born. Tim was known as a skilled locksmith. He enjoyed activities such as fishing, crabbing, and bowling. He competed in a mini-league at Milwaukie Bowl with his friends and family. While he enjoyed going out for sushi, he also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like Budweiser and homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He made friends in the neighborhood bars in the Brooklyn area of Portland and liked to share stories about work and family life.

Tim is survived by his wife, Virginia Hayzlett; his son, Brian Hayzlett, and two stepchildren, Nicole Hess (Aaron) and Joseph Gaudio (Joy); and his four grandchildren, Camryn, Khloee, Lucas, and Dominic; his brother, Jeff Hayzlett (Pat); his two sisters, Becky and Debra Hayzlett. He was a wonderful and generous grandfather. Tim was preceded in death by his mother and father, Marjorie and Verne Hayzlett, and his stepson, Robert Gaudio.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in order to ensure everyone’s health and safety.
