As a son, brother, husband, & father; a mechanic, plumber, builder, farmer, electrician, and proud union coal miner, Jack lived a full life, mostly spent surrounded by laughter & love.
Gardening, once a necessity in the lean years, was a lifelong passion of Jack's & gave him a lot of joy.
Having never fully recovered from pneumonia, Jack spent his last weeks in gradual decline until dying under the loving care of Hospice of Southern WV/The Bowers Hospice House.
In lieu of gestures of condolence, donations to Hospice of Southern WV, are encouraged.
Due to the holiday season and COVID-19, there will be no service at this time. A celebration of life for both Jack & Janet will be held at a date & time TBD. Their ashes will be scattered off the shores of Hilton Head Island, a place that gave Jack & Janet a lot of joy and peace, at a date and time TBD.
