

LORA FAY CRAFT TREADWAY FAYETTEVILLE – Lora Fay Craft Treadway, 90, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, July 02, 2014 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Caren Treadway. Born on July 30, 1923 at Lookout, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Myrtle Green Shieler Craft. Lora Fay was a homemaker and enjoyed raising and spending time with her ten children. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sylvester “Buster” Treadway in 1983; son, Ronald Treadway; and daughter, Pearl May Treadway. Left to cherish her memory includes her two sons: Gary (Caren) Treadway and Lawrence (Lisa) Treadway; six daughters: Shirley (Larry) Lamb, Rosie Wilson, Linda (Dale) Castle, Thelma (Ron) Menge, Jean Morgan, and Maxine (Ray) Green; 29 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Tomlin; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at the Treadway Cemetery, Beckwith. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral on Saturday at the funeral home.
