

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Noble Humphrey of Brooklyn; mother-in-law, Marie Atkins; three sisters: Betty Nugen of Rock Lick, Mary Lou of Oak Hill, and June Hornsby of Hilltop; and a nephew: TJ Humphrey of Brooklyn.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Elizabeth Humphrey of Oak Hill; daughter: April Gosnell and husband Jeremy Gosnell of Fairdale and; grandchildren: Kaylee Underwood, Brittany Underwood of Gatewood and boyfriend Daniel Smith; great-grandson Kaden Smith; daughter: Angela Willis and husband Paul Willis of Brooklyn; grandkids Christian and Josey McGuire, Brooklyn and Jackson Willis of Fayetteville; great grand baby on the way; son: Noble Humphrey Jr. and wife Destiny of Rainelle and grandkids: Alex Humphrey, Chase Humphrey, and Landon Humphrey; son: Jessie Humphrey of Brooklyn and grandkids: Nevaeh, Ethan, Joseph, Abby and Bentley; father-in-law: David Atkins; son-in-law: Charlie Underwood and wife Amanda of Cunard. Also left to cherish his memory will be his sisters: Delores, Virginia, Angel and Nelly; brothers: Thurmond Humphrey, Clifford Humphrey, Roger Humphrey, Larry Humphrey and a very special brother Allen Humphrey who was like a son to him. Special nephews: James Rice, Bud Humphrey and Christopher Humphrey who were also like sons to Noble. He also had special nieces: Janet, Rachel, Lynn and Misty, along with many more nieces and nephews.
His death is a great loss to our family, but he left a very big impression on all of us, and anyone who knew him. He will always be in our hearts, no one will ever fill his shoes, but he is at rest now with the Lord. We will always miss you Daddy. We all love you! And will always carry you with us.

A graveside service for Noble will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Cunard Cemetery, Cunard, WV.
