Bernard McCormick

84, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 17, 2017. He was born November 16, 1933 to the late Delbert F. and Marie (Munsch) McCormick. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School (1951), St. Edwards University and Butler University. He served in the U. S. Army. He worked in the trucking industries until he retired in 1996. He was an avid tennis player and fan for 50 years; Not a day when he did not watch his favorites. Bernard is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jill McCormick, daughter Jilayne (Donald) Sinkhorn, grandchildren, Amber, Chelsey, Jilian, Robert, Shelby, Jordon and Jenna, and 7 great grandchildren, sister Marie Adams, brother Paul McCormick, He is preceded in death by his daughter Michele A. McCormick, sister “Patsy” Heidenreich. Visitation will be held Friday, December 22 from 4 – 8 pm at Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel.
