Cheryl Sue Parra

Cheryl Sue Parra, age 73, of Avon, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022. Cheryl was born in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of the late Carlos and Mary Louise (Niblock) Buck. She is preceded in death by her siblings Jim Buck, Carla Cobb (nee Buck), Danny Buck, Dave Buck, Patricia Goodrum (nee Buck).

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ralph Parra, her siblings Kenny Buck and Kay (Wayne) McClure, 23 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her step-daughter Lisa (Carlos) Parra-Diaz, and step-granddaughter Abby.

Cheryl worked for Herff Jones for more than 30 years. She loved spending time with family and always had a passion for helping others. Her favorite time of year was Halloween, and her favorite season is the fall.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home-Beech Grove, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, Indiana. A Celebration of Cheryl's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation. The family ask if you would like you may come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume. Entombment will be in Floral Park Cemetery at a later date.
