Cora "Aunt Tub" Gibson

85, of Indianapolis, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2021. Cora was born on November 18, 1935 to the late Joseph and Hazel (Neiswanger) Turocy in Pittsburgh, PA. Cora worked for over 40 years at American States Insurance Co. and a member of Indian Creek Christian Church. Cora loved the Indianapolis Symphony and Dance Kaleidoscope. She enjoyed reading, dancing, swimming and working in her flower gardens. She always had a smile on her face and was ready for an adventure at the drop of a hat! She loved to travel and spend time with her family and spent much of her time volunteering for organizations such as The Indianapolis Symphony, FAME (Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelism), Shepherd Community Outreach and Servants Heart.

She is survived by her sister; Nancy McClellan, niece; Kimberly McClellan and nephew; Brent (Rhonda) McClellan, great nephews; Morgan, Andrew and Mason McClellan, great niece; Brittany (McClellan) Walker, great-great nephews; Carter and Brighton Walker.

Memorial contributions can be made to: The Indianapolis Symphony, The Dance Kaleidoscope or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
