85, passed away July 15, 2015. He was born in Clinton, Iowa to the late Frederick and Esther Colschen. David graduated from Clinton High School before serving his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had a lengthy career with DuPont before retiring in 1985. David loved golf , his dogs and was a skilled craftsman and could build just about anything from wood. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2606 and American Legion 0103 both in Punta Gorda, Fl.
He is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline Colschen; sons Gregg (Sandra), Brad (Judy); grandchildren David (Candace), Michael (Lena), Christopher, and Elizabeth (Bryan); great grandchildren Austin, Hunter, Amelia, and Bryleigh. David was preceded in death by son Scott and wife Nora.
Graveside services will be held in Clinton, Iowa on July 31, 2015
