80, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011. She was born February 2, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late George and Dorothy McDaniel. Elsie retired from Anthem in 1996 as a MSP Specialist after 20 years of service. She was a devoted member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Elsie is survived by her children, Janice Griner, Karen Parks (husband, Sheldon), Debra Goodlet (husband, James), Randall Butrum (wife, Laura), Harold “Duke” Butrum (wife, Caron), and Richard DeBaun (wife, Anne); brothers, Harold and William McDaniel; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Jack, and James McDaniel, and son-in-law, Gary Griner. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
