72, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011. He was born February 22, 1939 in New Albany, IN. Gilbert retired from Ford Motor Co. Gilbert is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Strack; step-father, Bill Strack; father, Kenneth Fenwick; brothers, David, Charlie, Mickie Fenwick, and Bruce Strack; and sister, Betty Suckart. He is survived by his loving wife, Willie Fenwick; son, Gilbert Fenwick, Jr.; daughters, Janet Demunbrun, Dorothy Barnett, Helen Raines, Toni Palmer, Karen Albertson, and Genia Collis; brothers, Jerry, Richard and Randy Fenwick; sister, Dorthey Flora; 13 special grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation is Friday, April 15, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Little & Sons Beech Grove Chapel, where the funeral is Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Orchard Hill Cemetery. Gilbert was a very loving and caring man. He was a very special person in every way.
