John William Barr

John William Barr, age 53, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020. John was born May 25, 1967 to John Albert and Frances Theodora Barr. John proudly served in the U.S. Marines serving in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was an IT Administrator for IU Health Hospital and the State of Indiana. He was a member of The Creek Church on Shelby Street and the American Legion. John enjoyed playing pool, bowling and swimming. John is survived by his beloved wife Juanita Lanestosa Barr, sons Alexander W. (Olivia) Barr, Ryan W. Barr and a host of friends. A visitation for John will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. A Celebration of Life will occur Friday, October 23, 2020 at 6:00 PM, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. Due to covid-19 social distance and face mask will be required and a limit of 50 people in the building at a time. John will be remembered for his sense of humor and his great love for his country, but most for his love of his family and friends.
