June Irene Overbey

June loved working in her yard, talking on the telephone, and shopping. Granny's greatest passion in life was being a mother/grandmother and having big family dinners.

She is survived by her son Anthony (Pattie) Overbey; her sister Wanda (Dennis) Sue Wilson, her brothers: Dean (Faye) Adams, Carl (Lucy) Adams, and Elmon (Betty Lou) Adams; her granddaughters: Tess (Richard) Compton, Tracy (Andrew) Backus, and Jennifer Overbey; her great grandchildren Amanda, Ashley, Monica, Seannah, Kainen, and Austin, and 3 great great grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years Troy Overbey; her loving son Robert Overbey (Sherry Cundiff); her loving daughter, Nancy Overbey; her grandson Eric Overbey; her loving parents Terry and Francis Adams; and her brothers: Ezekias (Phyllis) Adams, John (Elaine) C. Adams, Henry Ross (June) Adams, Clarence (Mary Jane) Adams, Leonard "Preacher" (Ruby Lee) Adams, George Willie Adams, Randall (Clara) Adams.

A public visitation for June will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.

June will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 734 North Morgantown Road, Greenwood, Indiana 46142.
