Kathy Ann Cohen

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathy Cohen, aged 60, of Indianapolis, Indiana, who peacefully departed this life on August 31, 2025. Kathy was born on December 20, 1965, at St. Francis Hospital to Harold and Norma Lane. She received her education at Baptist Academy.

In her early adulthood, she met and married the love of her life, Johnny Cohen, on February 2, 2002, in Marion County. Together, they shared many happy years before his passing on March 19, 2009, in Martinsville, Indiana

Kathy worked for over 15 years as a Licensing Administrator for the Health Professions Bureau within the State of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny Cohen, and her mother, Norma Lane. Kathy is survived by her father, Harold Lane, her two children, Kayla Defiore and Darian Spann, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Charlotte and Hunter Streeter. Her love for her family will live on in the memories and lives of those she leaves behind.

A memorial service to honor Kathy’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Little and Sons Funeral Home: 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove IN 46107 with a funeral service to follow. Kathy will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens: 1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.

A visitation for Kathy will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, IN 46107, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Kathy will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
