

Kelly J. Glass, age 78, of Indianapolis, IN was called home to be with his Savior on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Kelly was born December 25, 1946 in Whiteland, IN to the late Donald and Lois (Possman) Glass.
Kelly was a 1965 graduate of Manual High School where he was captain of the marching band and a member of the concert and pep band. Following high school, he attended Indiana State University for one year, then enlisted and proudly served in the United States Navy for four years before returning home to Indianapolis.
Kelly is survived by his wife of 57 years Donna (Triplett) Glass, daughter Shawn (Mark) Lundregan, son Patrick (Jill) Glass, daughter Jamie (Steve) Vaught, grandchildren Kate, Ayden, MacKenzie, Olivia, and Alyssa, sisters Roberta (Garold) Winzenread, Donna Cale, and Teresa McConahay. Kelly is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Carlene Triplett, brother-in-law David (Kathy) Triplett, and sister-in-law Beverly Rowan, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Kelly was also preceded in death by his niece Mary Katherine Winzenread and brother-in-law Larry Rowan.
Kelly retired from ERMCO, Inc. in 2014 and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. His past hobbies include bowling, fishing, golfing, playing music, and cooking for special events. He was a 50 year member of Southport Lodge No. 270 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis, and the Murat Shrine. He was a proud and active member of the Murat Director’s Staff, and was a Director Emeritus. Kelly was also a member of ROJ Court 15.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Southeast Baptist Tabernacle, 6835 Shelbyville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46237. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, with memorial service immediately following, Pastor John Ray officiating. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or American Cancer Society.
