78, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 10, 2010. She was born June 1, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late George and Marian Ferguson. Marilyn was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy and a homemaker. She was a very active member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She was on the Altar Society and volunteered much of her time to the church with various events. Marilyn is survived by her beloved husband, Ralph B. Dietz; daughters, Maureen (Steve) Klekar, Kathy Westerfield, and Janice Self; sisters, Dorothy Fogerty and Lois Ferguson; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; niece, Elizabeth Hayden; and nephew, Thom Fogerty. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dietz. Visitation is Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Little & Sons Beech Grove Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
