

on July 4, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on September 1,1935, Norma lived in Ohio where she graduated from Mt. Sterling High School in 1953. After graduation she ventured from the rural area to work at a bank in Columbus, Ohio, and later became federally employed as Program Assistant for Housing and Urban Development. After retirement, she and her husband Glenn enjoyed traveling, but decided to become permanent residents of Cape Coral, Florida. They continued traveling though, to all fifty states, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Norma was a member of Cape Coral First United Methodist Church where she served as treasurer for her Sunday School class, was active in United Methodist Women, and served on different church committees. Norma lived a Christian life in every way. She was a loving, caring person who was always thinking of others. She volunteered at Cape Coral Hospital for many years. She was a member of PEO, a philanthropic organization promoting the education of young women. Norma greatly enjoyed getting pictures of her great grandchildren, meeting neighbors for lunch, doing crossword puzzles, and playing bridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Glenn Morris, and her parents Oscar and Juanita Dials. Surviving are her stepdaughter Judith Kieffer of Massachusetts, stepson Jeffrey (Jean) Morris of Colorado, grandchildren Kristen Kieffer, Jason Morris, Jessica Corser, and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Patricia (Ed) Retherford of Newburgh, Indiana, and Marjorie (Jim) Murphy of Indianapolis, niece Kristine Terry, and nephews Mark Retherford and Paul Retherford.
In 2019, Norma moved to Indianapolis to be closer to family, but she will rest in peace at Coral Ridge Cemetery in Cape Coral, Florida. Memorial contributions in Norma's honor may be made to Cape Coral First United Methodist Church, 4118 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral, FL . 33904
