Obie David Dobbs, passed away in Indianapolis on July 11, 2011. Obie was 70 years old.Obie was born and raised in Mitchellville, TN to the late Hubert and Gladys Dobbs.He worked as a warehouse foreman for Lesley Coatings for 23 yrs. before retiring in 2003.Obie is survived by his daughters; Tina(Kevin)Scott and Kelly Apollos, his long time companion Lettie White and her children; Randy and Gary Jones, Rosemary Livers, Cathy Torris and Diane Goodnight.
He is also survived by three sisters; Linda Herrick, Brenda Roberson and Charlotte Rich, 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.Obie was preceded in death by two brothers; Donald and James Dobbs.Friends may call on Wed., July 13, 2011 from 3-8 p.m. in Little and Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel.
