Patty J. McAtee

86, of Beech Grove, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012. She was born June 7, 1925 in Russellville, IL. Patty was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church since 1964 and former member of the Beech Grove Moose and Eagle Lodges. She retired as an inspector from Fairmont Glass in 1982. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene “Red” McAtee; parents, Tan and Blanche Barker; sisters, Edna Bissey, Bethel Leighaty, Jessie “Suze” Aubert, and Patsy “Mary” Grizzle; brothers, Bud, Paul, Leonard, William, and Dan Barker; and grandson, Joshua McAtee. Patty is survived by her son, Paul (Bobbi) McAtee; grandchildren, Paula (Brad) Steely, Penny (Russ) Fowler, Jamie (Aubrey) Newton, Steven and Jeremy McAtee; 11 great grandchildren; and beloved niece, Patty Ann Richards. Visitation is Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
