Robert L. Knight, 79, died unexpectedly in his home in Indianapolis on April 21, 2012. He was born in Fairview, NJ to the late Robert W. and Dolores (Haverland) Knight. Bob was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Navy. Bob was also a retiree from the US Postal Service. He married Donna Jean Johnson on Nov. 12, 1960. She preceded him in death in 1991. He is survived by his son Robert (Ingrid) Knight, daughters; Diana Bell, Crystal Dobson, and Angela (John) Gerber, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Richard Knight and sister Caryl Dani.Visitation will be held on Thurs. April 26, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in Little and Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel. Visitation will be held on Fri. April 27, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 940 Wallace Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46201.
