Ruby Walters Shirley

Ruby Walters Shirley, age 100, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Ruby was born June 5, 1921 in Trafalgar, Indiana to the late Olive Belle (Weddle) Walters and Clarence Walters. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Shirley; and siblings, Alice Selch, Dorothy Frazier, Clarene Miller, Norman Walters, Robert Walters, Nolan Walters, and Floyd Walters. Ruby was a member of 1st Christian Church in Beech Grove and enjoyed quilting.

Ruby is survived by her son, Robert E. Shirley; sister, Doris Whitaker; granddaughters, Stacey Scott (Sam) and Kristy Robertson (Ryan); great grandchildren, Khailey Brown, Savana Scott, Lauren Chastain, and Blake Robertson; great-great grandchildren, Janie Brown and Jaycie Brown; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation for Ruby will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, December 17, 2021 and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana.
