Ruth M. Brown, 89, of Beech Grove, was called home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 18, 2013. She was born September 10, 1923 in Indianapolis, daughter of the late Clarence and Mathilda Long. Ruth was a member of Thompson Road Baptist Church. Her husband, Jack M. Brown, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Jack Brown, Daniel Brown (wife, Sherie), and Marilyn Giuliani (husband, Larry); brother, Carl Long; sisters, Kathryn Dreyer, Betty Zufall, and Sandra Cottrell; grandchildren, Brittany, William, Matthew, and Zachary; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel, where the funeral will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Thompson Road Baptist Church.
