Ruth Ann (Rogers) Leonard, 76, of Indianapolis passed away January 21, 2020. She was born at home in New Ross, Indiana on January 28, 1943. She was the daughter of Elmer and Claudia (Phelps) Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents and all four brothers (Richard, Lowell, John and Dean), as well as Jana's Father, Phil who are all waiting in heaven with open arms to welcome her home.
Upon graduation from Ladoga High School, Ruth moved to Indianapolis to go to Indiana Central and began working at Eli Lilly and Company. There, she met Phil Leonard. They were wed and had Jana.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Jana Leadingham (Josh), her sister-in-laws Arlena (Richard), Hazel (Lowell), and Paula (John). She is the aunt of many nieces and nephews that adore their Uncle Ruth (family joke)!
