Stanley David Hamilton

Stan was the 8th out of 9 children consisting of 7 boys and 2 girls. Stan graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1961 where he played football and baseball.

After high school Stan served in the Army /National Guard at Ft. Leonanwood, MS. After service, Stan began his 40 year career with Ford Motor Company in 1965, retiring in 2005.

Although a large man in stature and strength, he was gentle and kind with a great love of his family and all animals. Stan was also an accomplished artist with many of his works on display throughout the United States, including works displayed at Connor Prairie and the Indianapolis Zoo.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Marilyn (McCreary), sons, Jim Hamilton, John (Donna), Hamilton and Jerry Brown, Sister Bonnie (Harold) Trembley, Grandchildren Joseph Hamilton, Megan Grimes (Victor), Shelby Tucker and Jack (Breanna) Tucker and 1 great grandson Lincoln Cole Grimes.

A memorial visitation for Stanley will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
