Stephen Lynn Charnes

Stephen "Lynn" Charnes, age 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Lynn was born July 14, 1945 in Indianapolis to the late Farwell Glenn and Marion Ames Charnes. In addition to his parents, Lynn is preceded in death by his sisters: Sandy (Leroy) Colten, Jackie (Bob) Hale, Sue Williams, Ginger (Walter) Hall, and his brother Richard (Wilma). Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Charnes (Jarosinski), whom he married January 14, 1967 and his twin brother Alvia "Lane" Charnes. Lynn worked at St. Vincent Hospital and Mid America Labs for 40 years after his time in the Airforce. A visitation for Stephen will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Lynn will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, 435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225.
