I feel like it’s been forever since I spoke to you, but I still think of you every single day. Oh man, what I would do just to experience seeing you one more time. I’m still blown away from the fact someone as beautiful/perfect like you existed on this planet. I hate it here, but I miss you and I will live for you. I hope I’ll be able to see you again soon…

Dear Kat, 
You came into my life at the rough time that is basic training lol. Basic was hard but everyone was so motivated to make a better and different path for themselves. Our friendship started all because one day you decided to stand next to me in formation and made a joke.  You were one of my first friends I made in the Army and I cherished every second of it.  It was always hard for me to make friends but you came up and started a conversation with me and for the rest of basic we were by each others side. You encouraged and motivated me and believed that I could be someone great so I made it a point to try and live up to the person you saw me as. After you got hurt I made sure that anything I could do in my power to help I would do and when when it was time to leave basic I sent words of encouragement to keep you motivated as you did for me back then.  I think of you now while I am overseas  and will treasure every moment, laugh, and cadence in the cold we shared. I send my condolence to your family and friends.  You were a light gone too soon and I'm glad I was able to experience the light and warmth you brought to the world.

I miss you everyday, I hope you found peace my love.

We will missed you for ever and we will have you in our hearts sweet little caring angel. Thank you for all the support and been a really caring good babysitter with my kids and cousins. You were Very smart and mature. You wanted to change  and provide a better quality of life to your mother  and show that you  don’t need a paternal presence  around to accomplish  goals . We are very proud of you for what you accomplished in this world.
