Manuel J. Gomez, 82, of Bell, CA passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. He was born in San Antonio Texas, of parents Manuel J. Gomez, Sr (from Mexico) and Rosaura G Gomez (from Eagle Pass).
His siblings (preceeding): Leonard Gomez, Frank M Gomez and Evangeling G Herrera. Manuel worked as an auto mechanic in his parent’s shop in San Antonio Texas. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe grade 1-8 , and Sidney Lanier HS, in San Antonio, Texas.
He moved to Los Angeles, and owned a Texaco gas station, was a Foreman at Norris Industries, and retired, then was assistant manager of Food Services for Santa Anita Track in California, and retired . He attended Agape International Spiritual Center with his wife Judy Jackson.

A Celebration of Life for Manuel will be held Thursday May 12, 2022 4-8pm at Funeraria del Angel Bell, 4667 Gage Ave., Bell, CA 90201
