Maria Moreno Perez, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 24, 2025, in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 65. Born on October 11, 1959, in Ciudad de México, Maria lived a life full of love, resilience, and grace.

Maria's journey began in her cherished hometown of Ciudad de México, where she was surrounded by family and friends who would forever hold her memory close. In her younger years, Maria moved to the United States, where she embraced her new life with open arms, working tirelessly to build a better future for herself and her son, Jesus Villalobos, whom she adored and proudly supported throughout his life.

Maria’s warmth and compassion touched all who knew her. Whether she was offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or sharing stories of her heritage, Maria's presence was a source of comfort and joy. She was a devoted mother, a caring sister, and a friend who made everyone feel valued.

Maria’s love for her roots remained steadfast, and she always spoke fondly of her beloved Nayarit, Mexico. In keeping with her wishes, she will be laid to rest there, where her spirit will forever be connected to the land she loved so much.

Maria is survived by her son, Jesus Villalobos, whose life she shaped with her love, wisdom, and dedication. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A private service will be held in Santa Monica, followed by her burial in Nayarit, Mexico, where she will be reunited with her heritage and the loved ones who passed before her.
