Barbara Ann Lazarz

Barbara went to Mary Baldwin University to study language . Barbara’s other passions were bridge, swimming, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family. She also loved art and going to Mass on Sundays at St. Vincent de Paul church. Barbara loved singing and playing the piano and was well versed in Spanish and French. She touched everyone’s heart with her beauty, humor and generosity.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Lola Croom, and her husband Don Lazarz of 62 years. She was survived by her children Donnie Lazarz, Mark Lazarz and Ginger Knight, her grandchildren Nicole and Ashley Lazarz, Thomas and Sam Sheives and great grandchild Graham Wood. She was also survived by her special loving caretaker Rosie Ordoñez.

A visitation and reception for Barbara will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77401. Chapel services will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 4525 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77401. An interment will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023.
