She was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended North Texas High School.
Charlotte attended Stephens College in Missouri and graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, with a degree in Home Economics.
She was an excellent seamstress and taught her daughters how to sew. She loved to garden, following in her mother’s footsteps and she loved accounting and finance, following in her father’s footsteps.
Charlotte was married to John Albano for 57 years, until his death in 2004. Charlotte is survived by her son, Frank Albano of Seattle, daughters Joyce Standish and husband Tom, and Carol Coddou and husband Stan, both of Houston; grandchildren Brian Standish and wife, Kristi, Mark Standish and wife, Laura, and Jennifer Wilhelm, and husband, David, Ross Coddou, Stephen Coddou and Patrick Coddou and wife, Jennifer, and 6 great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at the family cemetery in Independence, Texas.
